VanCannon specializes in painting people in their surroundings, with particular observance of the Americana of the 1950’s. These timeless compositions depict the beauty of family, childhood, and generations, and often evoke nostalgic feelings with reflections of the past.
Portraits/Commissions
VanCannon paints portraits and commission work. She has done a variety of children's portraits and adult portraiture. She works with her clients to paint personal requests: an old family photo, landscape from a honeymoon destination, or a still life of important memorabilia.
