Abigail has taught numerous art classes, workshops, and instructional demos in the Greater Sacramento Region from 2012 - 2017 - Then she went off and had a baby and moved to Alexandria, VA (husbands job). She is settling nicely in VA and painting out of her home studio when she's not chasing her toddler around. She's taking a short break from regular sessions, but hopes to start again soon. She is still doing online/virtual art coaching and consulting. Contact: vancannonart@gmail.com for scheduling or just to say hi.

Thank you for teaching me how to create and manage my own art website. I never thought I could ever learn how to do this. Because I’m “technologically challenged”, it all seemed so complicated. Your encouraging, nurturing way helped me to learn how to navigate the system. I feel empowered to change my website whenever I want to do it. You are a natural teacher. I can say this with certainty because I am a retired, certificated teacher myself. I am grateful to you for giving me these skills and the confidence to learn more about social media.

An extremely talented artist and teacher with a formal art background, Abby is able to provide the guidance needed for her students to advance in each of their styles. She devotes a good deal of time to each easel giving helpful critiques and suggestions in a supportive, friendly way. Abby's classes are always a great learning experience and a lot of fun. ~Alison B.
Just a quick note to thank you for the past year of instruction. My art has grown immeasurably under your tutelage. Not only are you a fabulous artist, you are a marvelous teacher. ~ Bob Ryan
